LiveJobs.fyi ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and name. When you set up your profile, we store your resume text (extracted from the file you upload — the original file is immediately deleted) and any job preferences you set. We do not store your resume file.
We automatically collect basic usage data including pages visited and features used, as well as error logs to help us fix bugs. We do not use tracking pixels, third-party analytics, or advertising cookies.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your personal information with third parties except as required to operate the service (see Section 4).
We send transactional emails (account verification, password resets) and optional job digest emails. You can change your digest frequency or turn off email notifications at any time from your profile settings. We use SendGrid to deliver email — your address is transmitted to SendGrid solely for the purpose of sending you messages from us.
We use a small number of third-party services to operate LiveJobs.fyi:
None of these services receive your resume content or job preferences.
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at our contact page, and we will delete your personal data within 30 days.
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Database access is restricted to our application servers via firewall rules. We do not store credit card numbers or payment information of any kind.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the contact page. We will respond within 30 days.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users by email if we make material changes. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
